Our summer meeting hiatus is over. Join us on Tuesday, September 17at 7:00pm for our Neighborhood Meeting at SpringHill Suites, 301 Reserve Ave. SW. Our guest presenter is Nicholas Ocampo, Roanoke City's new Director of Elections and General Registrar.
Mr. Ocampo will have Roanoke City sample ballots, voter guides, voter registration applications, and vote-by-mail applications. Early voting starts here and across the commonwealth on September 20. It's a busy time for Ocampo and his staff but his intention is to be available after the meeting to address any additional questions and collect any completed applications. "I look forward to meeting everyone and working together to keep Roanoke informed and civically engaged!"
A brief business meeting will follow Mr. Ocampo's presentation. A reminder to all to submit SoRo Solutions online or in person before the meeting. SoRo Solutions is our tool to improve our meetings as well as document the input of neighbors during and outside of meetings.
